QMS Configuration
Set the recording service PBX type to "Cisco Webex" in the Services configuration.
Depending on whether your installation is multi-tenant or not, the following fields can either be found on the services page, or on the tenant configuration page (after assigning the recording service to the tenant). This allows for QMS tenants to connect to different Webex tenants:
-
Webex Org ID (you can find this in the webex admin portal under the "Account" section)
-
ClientID (of the Service App)
-
Client Secret (of the Service App)
-
Webhook Port (use the default 8910 unless there is a conflict)
-
Access token (of the Service App)
-
Refresh token (of the Service App)
Securing the Recording Server
The recording server will need to be internet accessible with a FQDN (fully qualified domain name). Because the recording server will be on the internet it is advisable to secure the recording service ports using the QMSConfig tool. See the Configure Secure Transport (Optional) section of the Quality Management Suite Installation Guide for more information. If all the QMS services are on the same server (data service and MPS) then securing all the QMS services would be advisable.
Alternatively you could manually configure the recording service to use a FQDN by manually changing the MachineNameOverride key value in the CallRecordingService.exe.config file. This step is normally done for you by the config tool, but worth checking if you find your recording services is not being addressed correctly by the FQDN e.g.
<add key="MachineNameOverride" value="myrecordingservice.domain.org" />
The recording server will also need an SSL certificate enabled on the whatever webhook ports you selected above (normally 8910). You will need to do this manually regardless of whether the recording service has been configured for SSL transport or not, because the Cisco webhook port only supports SSL. Find out what the thumbprint of your certificate is and run this command in either Cmd or Powershell e.g.
netsh http add sslcert ipport=0.0.0.0:8910 certhash={YOUR THUMBPRINT GOES HERE} appid={00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}
