Full Text Search Settings
Users with the Change System Settings permission in their Security Profile can edit the full text settings.
Full text search is provided by Meilisearch. Enabling it requires that a text recording feature (Text Recording or Call Transcription) is licensed.
To edit the full text settings click the
navigation icon and then click the General link from the administration sub-menu. The General tab displays. Complete the following fields of the Full Text Search and Index Settings section.
-
Click the Enable full text indexing and search checkbox to enable the feature.
-
Enter the Meilisearch Endpoint, the URL of the Meilisearch instance. For example:
http://localhost:7700. -
Enter the Meilisearch Master Key, the master key that Meilisearch is running with.
-
Click the Save button at the foot of the General tab to save the settings.
A status row below the key shows the Health, Version, number of Indexes, Pending Tasks and Failed Tasks of the Meilisearch instance. If QMS cannot connect to the endpoint or the master key is rejected, the Error column explains why.
|
The endpoint and master key apply to the whole installation. In a multi-tenant system, whether full text search is used can also be chosen for each tenant, and each tenant has its own index statistics and reindexing controls. |
For installing Meilisearch, troubleshooting error messages and reindexing, see Meilisearch QMS Configuration.
