WEBRTC QMS Configuration

  • Edit the PBX type of the Recording Service to be type "WebRTC via Freeswitch".

  • Enter the Freeswitch host name. This is the hostname or IPV4 address where the Freeswitch instance is hosted.

  • Enter the ESL port. This is the port number where Freeswitch listens for connections to the Event Sockets Library.

  • Enter the ESL Password. This is the Event Sockets password used for authentication and authorization of the ESL client. The ESL details provided at the QMS client should match the configuration of the Freeswitch instance in event_socket_conf.xml usually located in the autoload_configs path. Additionally, the inbound-acl rule associated with the configuration will need to allow connections from the QMS host.

  • Enter the Web socket server port. This is port local to the QMS host where the web socket server is bound to accept forked audio over a web socket. Optionally, the audio delivered to the web socket can be secured using wss:// if Use secure web sockets is checked. If secure web sockets are elected an SSL certificate will need to be bound to the web socket server port with cmd

    netsh http add sslcert ipport=0.0.0.0:nnnn certhash={THUMBPRINT} appid={GUID}

    where nnnn is the configured port.
