Video Recording Profiles

Video Recording Profiles define a set of criteria that must be met for a member user to persist a video recording and specifications related to the procurement and maintenance of the resulting video recording. Criteria to trigger a recording may include a recording’s metadata matching a rule set, the recording occurring during a day-of-week and or time-of-day window, and a percentage based acceptance threshold. A video recording profile specifies the retention period for a recording it accepts and may specify the details of a third party server that creates the recording.

QMS Users that have a Video Recording License can be assigned to one or more Video Recording Profiles. In the case of a user being assigned to many video recording profiles the profiles are consulted for recording treatment sequentially with higher priority profiles consulted before lower priority profiles.
