QMS Architecture
The Enghouse Interactive Quality Management Suite (QMS) is a distributed call recording system consisting of a collection of services which can be deployed in many configurations. In most deployments, a QMS system contains four different components:
-
A QMS Data service
-
One or more QMS Call Recording services
-
The QMS Client website, hosted within a web server
-
A Microsoft SQL or PostGres database
High Availability Configuration
When running in a high-availability configuration, the Enghouse Interactive Quality Management Suite consists of the following components:
-
Up to two instances of the QMS Data service, running as a redundant pair
-
Up to two instances of the QMS Call Recording service for each instance that would normally run in a non-redundant configuration
-
One or more instances of the QMS Client website, hosted within a web server
-
A Microsoft SQL database running in a highly available SQL instance utilizing either merge replication or SQL AlwaysOn High Availability
