Step 2: Install Visual C++ Redistributable Packages
In order to successfully upgrade any QMS services, including the QMS Desktop Agent on user PCs, the following Visual C++ redistributable packages must be installed:
The 32-bit version of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 redistributable package, available for download at the following location (there are a few different variants, download the one named vcredist_x86.exe):
Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 redistributable package need to be installed before starting the QMS upgrade. The packages are available for download at the following locations:
