To edit a Scorecard, complete the following steps.
Log into the Quality Management Client with a username that has Edit Scorecards permissions.
Click the Scorecards button under the Agent Evaluation section of the menu bar.
Expand a Category tree node to view the scorecards below it.
Select a scorecard.
Click the Edit button. A new tab displays containing the selected scorecard's details. Further details on scorecard editing are in the Navigation section below.
There are two methods of keyboard navigation while editing a scorecard, the Tab key and the Enter key.
Tab key navigation
The Tab key will navigate between the Scorecard Title and Description. If Tab is pressed while the Scorecard Description has focus, focus will transfer to the first Question/Category Title in the list.
While the list has focus, pressing the Tab key moves through the fields of each individual Question/Category.
Enter key navigation
When a list item's Title field has focus, pressing Enter moves focus down to the list item's Description field. This applies to both Questions and Categories.
When a list item's Description field has focus, pressing the Enter key moves focus down to the next list item's Title field. This applies to both Questions and Categories.
If focus is on a list item's Weight or Question Type fields and the Enter key is pressed, focus moves down to the following list item's Title field.
If focus is on the last list item's Description field and the Enter key is pressed, a new Question will be added to the bottom of the list and focus will be placed on the Title field.
To save a scorecard, complete the following steps.
Once all edits have been completed, click the Save button to commit the changes to the database.
Any edits made, including deletes, are not permanent until the scorecard is saved. The scorecard edit tab remains open.
Scorecards are versioned, which means every save operation creates a new entry in the database rather than making changes to an existing scorecard. This is for historical purposes, allowing older scorecards to remain viewable with the questions and criteria that were in effect at the time.
To close a scorecard, complete the following steps.
Click the Close button to close the Scorecard editing tab. A confirmation window displays to verify the user wants to close the scorecard.
Click Yes on the confirmation window to close the scorecard editing tab. Any unsaved edits will be lost, as indicated by the confirmation window.
To save and close a scorecard, complete the following steps.
Click the Save and Close button to save the scorecard changes and close out the scorecard. No confirmation window displays since all of the changes are saved before the Scorecard Editing tab is closed.
