Editing Group Types

Users with the Add/Edit Groups permission in their Security Profile can edit group types.

To edit a group type, click the navigation icon and then click the Groups link from the administration sub-menu. The Groups tab displays containing the list of group types and groups. To edit a group type, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Edit button in the group type row of the group type you wish to edit.

  2. A new dialog will open with Edit Group Type as the tab title.

  3. Enter a valid Group Name.

  4. Click the OK button located at the bottom right of the add group type dialog. The dialog will close.

The predefined group types, Department and Location, cannot be edited.
