Editing Groups
Users with the Add/Edit Groups permission in their Security Profile can edit groups.
To edit a group, click the navigation icon and then click the Groups link from the administration sub-menu. The Groups tab displays containing the list of group types and groups. To edit a group, click the Edit button in the group row of the group you wish to edit, a new tab will open with the group name as the tab title.
In the Edit Group page there is a Group Details section where you can edit the Name of the group and change the Group Type. When changes are made to either of these fields click the button to save the changes.
Below the group details there will be a Group Members section that contains two columns with pairs of lists:

Profile Members lists all users currently assigned to the group, and Profile Non-Members lists all users not currently assigned to the group.

Profile Member Groups lists all groups currently assigned to the profile, and Profile Non-Member Groups lists all groups not currently assigned to the profile.
Use the arrow
buttons to move users, and groups from one list to the other. The changes to the list will be updated when the arrow buttons are clicked.

The predefined group types, Department and Location, will only have Profile Members and Profile Non-Member lists. |
