On Demand Transcription Settings

On Demand Transcription Settings allows on demand transcription to be performed on previously un-transcribed recordings. This feature is only available if your QMS system is integrated with a Transcription Engine (NTE).

To configure on-demand transcription complete the following steps:

Click the Enable Transcription checkbox.
If a Nuance Transcription Engine (NTE) has been added to the system, specify the Transcription Operating Mode which allows you to set a preference for speed vs. accuracy.

Accurate – Processing time is 1x real time. A 9-minute recording will take 9 minutes to transcribe. This is the most accurate setting. Consumable licensing will use 9 minutes of licenses.

Fast – Processing time is 3x real time. A 9-minute recording will take 3 minutes to transcribe. This is slightly less accurate but will receive the response quicker. Consumable licensing will use 3 minutes of license.

Warp – Processing time is 10x real time. A 9-minute recording will take less than a minute to transcribe. This is the least accurate but fastest response. Consumable license will use 1 minute of licensing.
