To install a Data Collector, complete the following steps.
Copy the Call Recording installation program, (..Installers\QMS Call Recording Service\setup.exe) onto the remote Windows computer that is hosting the data collector.
Install the Call Recording Service (..Installers\QMS Call Recording Service\setup.exe). You need the following information:
Data Service Address - The hostname or IP address of the computer running the Enghouse Interactive Data Service.
Packet Capture Adapter - The friendly name given to the networking adapter that receives packets from the network (i.e. Local Area Connection).
Messaging Adapter - The friendly name given to the networking adapter that communicates with the Enghouse Interactive Data Service (i.e. Local Area Connection 2).
Allow the installation of WinPcap.
Reboot the server.
Open a browser window and login to the Quality Management Client (http://localhost/qms) where localhost is the name of the main Quality Management Server.
You can do this from the browser that resides on the main site server or from the data collector.
Ensure that the remote site users being monitored and recorded by the Data Collector have their recording service configured to the IP address (or computer name) of the Data Collector.
