Sometimes the volume from a specific phone handset or voice gateway can be too quiet or too loud, resulting in recordings where one party is loud and the other party is quiet. If this consistently happens, you can adjust the audio volume of all calls from that IP address.
This is a two step process:
First identify the IP address of the specific phone handset (or gateway)
Then define the volume adjustment
Once you have saved the volume adjustment, the change takes effect immediately. So the next recorded call on that handset/gateway will have a change in volume.
To adjust the volume of the recordings of a phone handset or voice gateway, complete the following steps.
In the navigation bar, click Administration > General. The General page displays.
In the Volume Adjustments section, click the Add New Address button. A new row is created in the list of IP addresses.
Enter an address in the IP Address field.
Drag the slider to define the Volume Factor between 0.5 (half volume) and 2.0 (double volume). The default volume factor setting of 1 would effectively have no change (same volume).
In the Actions bar, click the Save button.
Select an IP address and move the slider to change the settings. Select an IP address and click the Delete button to delete the settings. Remember to click the Save button afterwards. |
