The CallRexDBUtility.exe is used to create a backup of a Quality Management Database. It also provides the ability to restore a Quality Management Database.
The CallRexDBUtility.exe file can be requested from Telrex Support (support@telrex.com).
To backup and restore the Quality Management Database, complete the following steps.
Run CallRexDBUtility.exe file.
With this tool you have the option to backup or restore the Quality Management Database.
For the Backup option
it generates the backup file in the Microsoft SQL directory: "C:\Program
Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Backup" and the filename
is a bak file with the current date/time: "CallRex 2011-09-25
16-00.bak". Click the backup
button and wait for the message window Backup Complete.
On Windows 2008 and 2012 systems, the program files directory would be: Program Files(x86) |
For the Restore option you need to stop your Quality Management Services and then select the file that you are restoring from. Click Restore and wait for the message window Restore Complete. Then proceed to restart your Quality Management Services.
This backup only contains agent configuration, profiles, flags, call history, filenames, and other metadata. The actual recordings are stored in WAV files and are located where specified on the Services tab in the Quality Management Client (i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\QualityManagementSuite\Local Storage).
