Editing Archive Tasks

To edit any archive task that appears in the archive tasks list, complete the following steps.

  1. Select the task and click the Edit button or double-click the task. This displays the selected archive in a tab where you can edit any of the settings for the archive.

  2. When you finish editing the settings for the archive task, click the Save button. If you do not want to save your changes, then close the tab and no changes will be made.

    If you make changes to an archive task that is currently running, then that task stops. The task resumes at the next scheduled time based on the new settings that were saved. If you configure the new archive task to start now, then it starts after the running task has stopped.
