Call Recording Transcription Settings

Transcription Settings allows the administrator to define the automatic transcription behavior for the call recording profile. This feature is only available if your QMS system is integrated with a Transcription Engine. To configure the Transcription Engine refer to Editing Media Processing Services.

To configure automatic transcription complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Enable Transcription checkbox.
  2. Optionally, click the Prevent transcription of calls less than [] seconds to activate it. The default is 15 seconds. Enter a value to prevent Quality Management Studio from creating automatic transcriptions on calls less than the specified duration.
  3. Optionally, click the Prevent transcription of calls more than [] seconds to activate it. The default is 3600 seconds. Enter a value to prevent Quality Management Studio from creating automatic transcriptions on calls greater than the specified duration.
  4. Specify the Transcription Operating Mode which allows you to set a preference for speed vs. accuracy. (NTE Only)
  5. Specify the Language the transcription engine should load when detecting languages. (NTE and Azure Speech-to-Text Only)
