Alert Notifications

Quality Management 5.0 alerting has been expanded to include notifications from  the server hosting the Enghouse Interactive Data Service as well as all servers hosting the Call Recording Service (a.k.a Data Collectors). Each service is configured separately. This allows system administrators flexibility on which alerts to track and who to inform about the alerts. For example, consider an environment that has a main central office and two remote offices, where each remote office houses a Call Recording Service. The system administrator could configure each office's alerts to be sent only to the local administrator at each remote office.

Alerting configuration has been expanded as well. A comma-separated list of email addresses and/or distribution lists that can now be entered to receive email alerts for a service. Multi-lingual support is also possible on a per-service basis. Consider the previous example of a central office and two remote offices, where the central office is in the USA, one remote office is in Italy, and the other remote office is in Russia. The system administrator has the option of enabling either email alerts or logging alerts to the Windows Event Log, or both, on a per-service basis.

For more information on each services' notifications, see Data Service Notifications and Call Recording Service Notifications.
