Email Settings
Users with the Change System Settings permission in their Security Profile can edit the general settings.
To edit the email settings click the navigation icon and then click the General link from the administration sub-menu. The General tab displays. Complete the following fields of the Email Settings section.
An email server is required for all functionality that generates an email (e.g. Notification emails, Alerting system emails, and Password Resets)
- Contact your email service provider, for the details on what the configuration should be.
- For SMTP service not authenticated, select No SMTP Authentication Required and enter the SMTP Server and Port.
- For SMTP service that supports basic authentication, select SMTP Basic Authentication and refer to the SMTP Basic Authentication Guide for more details.
- For SMTP service that supports modern token authentication, select SMTP OAuth Authentication and refer to the SMTP OAuth Authentication Guide for more details on what to enter depending on the SMTP service.
- For Microsoft 365, select OAuth Microsoft 365 Authentication and refer to the OAuth Microsoft 365 Authentication Guide for more details.
- Enter in one or more To Email Address(es) that should receive notifications, separate by commas. These addresses are where the Notification emails are sent (if enabled).
- Enter the From Email Address that you want the QMS emails to appear to be sent from.
