New in this Release
The following are changes and enhancements related to the client in 7.3. For a full list of changes affecting the whole suite refer to the Quality Management Suite 7.3 Release Notes.
Nuance Transcription Engine Enhancements
- Added License Alerting for Nuance FlexNet License Administrator alerts. Alerts can include threshold limits for consumable licenses, FLA server uptime, and expiration. Alerts are delivered by email using MPS notification settings.
- New Dashboard Widget that shows Consumable License Usage Over Time.
- Made modifications to MPS edit tab that improves the NTE Server administration and entry.
Documentation Enhancements
- Hardware requirements added to System Design Guide.
- Improvements made to Packet Forwarding Service Guide.
- Additions made to Transcription Services Guide.
Performance and Scalability
- All QMS libraries and components upgraded to 64-bit only.
- Performance testing of concurrent call recording limitations of Call Recording and Media Processing Service completed.
- Performance analysis of Data Service with active QMS Client sessions completed.
- QMS Sizing tool created to help determine server requirements for QMS customers.
Client Enhancements
- Added a dark theme to the QMS Client that matches the new theme for the TouchPoint User Interface.
- Added a new System Recording permission that separates Pause and Stop permissions for recordings. This can disable the Pause Recording permission while allowing for Stop Recordings. This supports MiFID regulations in Europe.
Integration Enhancements
- Cisco 12.5 certification completed.
- Microsoft SQL Server 2017 supported and SQL Server 2017 Express installed by default.
- High Availability for Mitel supported.
- Additional support for Npcap installed in WinPcap-compatible mode, WinPcap and Npcap both installed in native mode, or Npcap installed alone in native mode. WinPcap alone is still a supported mode.
Codec Enhancements
- iLBC codec supported for Cisco installations.
- iSAC codec supported for Cisco installations.
- Opus codec supported for Cisco installations.
Limitations
End of Life support for CC Recording & Evaluation recording migration into QMS. The migration tool will no longer be available. The recommendation is to keep R&E systems operational if access to these recordings is required.
