Configuring Email Notifications

CallRex can send emails to the administrator to notify them that they need to check or reconfigure the software. For this to work you must first define the e-mail server and port,and the e-mail address.

To configure Email Notifications:

  1. In the navigation bar, click Administration > General. The General page is displayed.

  2. In the Email Settings (Notifications) section set the following, as required:

    Parameter

    Purpose

    SMTP Server

    The name of the SMTP server.

    SMTP Port

    The SMTP port number. The default is 25.

    Email Address

    The e-mail address to receive notifications.

    SMTP Server requires authentication

    If the SMTP server requires a User name and password, select this check box.

    User name

    The administrator e-mail account User name.

    Password

    The administrator e-mail account password.


  3. In the action bar, click Save.
