Port Usage and Codecs

 

QMS Port Usage

 

 

 

For servers running the QMS Data Service:

80 (TCP):  Needed for IIS and remote connectivity to the client

443 (TCP):  Needed for SSL / https – remote connectivity to the client

943 (TCP):  Needed Microsoft Silverlight policy file port

1801(TCP):  If you are connecting over a WAN, this port is needed for MSMQ

4530 (TCP):  File Transfer port – This is so the client (remote PC) can connect to the server and transfer files to/from the Data Service

8002 (TCP):  Client connection to the Data Service

8003 (TCP):  Client connection to receive real time activity state

8004 (TCP):  Call recording connection to the Data Service

8007 (TCP):  MSMQ binding for sending/receiving reliable messages between the Recording Service and the Data Service

8008 (TCP):  Telrexnetservice communicates with QMS Server (Lync Integration Only)

8009 (TCP):  The RTP Data Collector sends the repackaged RTP stream to the Call Recording Service. (Lync Integration Only)

8011 (TCP):  Reporting

 

For servers running the QMS Call Recording Service (Data Collectors / Remote Recording Servers):

1801(TCP):  If you are connecting over a WAN, this port is needed for MSMQ

4531 (TCP):  File Transfer port – This is so the client (remote PC) can connect to the server and transfer files to/from the Data Service

4533 (TCP): File Transfer port – This is so the client (remote PC) can connect to the server and transfer files to/from the Data Service

8005 (TCP):  Computer recording connection to the Recording Service

8006 (TCP):  Computer recording connection to the Data Service

8010 (TCP):  Integrated Contact Center Communications (Only if they’re using a contact center solution like EICC – taking queue calls)

8012 (TCP):  Custom PBX integration communications (Intuition console product)

 

Endpoint PC’s who will have their screens recorded and internal firewalls:

8426 (TCP):  Computer recording connection between the client and the server (live monitoring)

8425 (TCP):  (ONLY for Pre-QMS 5.2) Computer recording connection between the client and the server (file transfer)

8016 (TCP):  Need for transfer of computer screen recordings

** HttpNamespaceManager is NOT needed in anything version of 5.2 or greater **

 

Cisco Forked Audio:

** On ANY server running the QMS Call Recording Service, these ports need to be opened **

5060 (TCP/UDP):  Call Control communication port (or whatever port is specified in the SIP Trunk)

8901 (TCP/UDP):  RTP Data communication port; where the phone sends audio to
