Replaying Screen Recordings

Users with the appropriate Security Profile can replay screen recordings. If your profile contains the Change System Settings permission you can also view the audit events and flags/notes for the recordings on the playback page.

To replay a Screen Recording, complete the following steps.

  1. View  a User's recordings.

  2. In the list, either:

    • Double-click a screen recording.

    • Right-click a screen recording and in the list Actions bar click the Play button.

      You can only replay one recording at a time.

A new page displays, in which the selected screen recording is replayed. The page's Actions bar contains the following controls:

  • << - Rewind the recording in 5-second chunks.

  • Play - Begin playback at the current point in the recording.

  • Pause - Pause playback. Click either Pause or Play to resume playback.

  • Full Screen - Maximize the playback area to fill the page. The navigation bar remains visible. Press Esc to return to the default view.

  • Full Resolution - Show the video at the resolution in which it was recorded. Scroll bars may appear if the resolution of the recording is greater than the available space to display the recording.

  • >> - Wind the recording forward in 5-second chunks.

  • A slider for controlling the recording sound volume.

  • If you have the appropriate permission, the Show Audit Log button is available. Click this to display the Audit Log page.

At the bottom of the page, a timer and progress bar show the point in the recording currently displayed. The timer has the format <current point>/<recording length>.
